READ: SEE/SAW “SLIMEPHONE SURVEILLANCE” REVIEW

Trusted punk and rock’n’roll publication/newsletter/review site see/saw has posted a glowing review for the band’s new album “Slimephone Surveillance” in their Punk This Week roundup. If you love punk music and are looking for more new music, there is no better resource than see/saw.

“You want some more wild shit from the Midwest? Des Moines’ Greg Wheeler & the Poly Mall Cops have you covered with their new album Slimephone Surveillance. Wheeler’s vocals have this scream-growl that offers propulsion enough on its own, but let’s talk about what Greg and the Cops do best: transforming a simple and strong hook into an all-power punk barrage. “Animal” is a great example of this, that Dwyerian “WOO” that leads into a Kool-Aid Man wall smash. They don’t lean on loud-quiet-loud to get themselves over—the songwriting is strong on its own and the vocal magnetism is pretty undeniable.” – Evan Minsker
